Okra pakora
Ingredients
1.
Tender okra - 20
2.
Besan /chickpea flour - 6 tbsp
3.
Rice flour - 2 tbsp
4.
Turmeric - a pinch
5.
Red chili powder - 1/4 tsp
6.
Baking soda - a pinch
7.
Salt
8.
Water
9.
Oil for deep frying
Method
1.
Cut okra lengthwise into 4 strips.
2.
Make a thick batter by mixing chickpea flour, rice flour, salt, baking soda,
turmeric and red chili powder.
3.
Heat oil over medium high in a wok .mix the okra in the batter .fry the okras
in batches till crispy and golden brown. Add chaat masala (optional) serve hot
